I made this card for two reasons, the first is to bring light to someone in need. The image I used is a "Simply Betty" image and it is my first time to this site, introduced to me by Christy at Tiddly Inks. Betty, the owner, her high school son was diagnosed with stage 1 throat cancer. He is expected to receive treatment and recover but the costs will be high. If you could just go and take a look at her story and help, even if it is sending him a card, I know she would truly appreciate it.The second, on a lighter note, is to enter this into the A La Card Monkey Challenge #77- Leaves (Autumn) + sketch. It seems like forever since I have been able to take part in their challenges. They always have wonderful sketches to go by along with a fun challenge. Hop on over an take a look and join in!
