Anything Goes

Good morning everyone!  It is time for our challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids and it is a super easy one because it is "Anything Goes".  You are going to want to enter this one because we have some wonderful prizes to be won.  Our Sponsors for this challenge are the fabulous Tiddly Inks ($12 gift certificate), Crafty Sentiments Designs (3 images of choice) and Lili of the Valley (10 pound gift certificate).  I mean who wouldn't want a shot at some of those beautiful images!!

For my first card I am showcasing "She Loves Me" by Crafty Sentiments Designs.  I zoomed in on the image and used it off to the side.  I wanted to do a B&W version with the roses standing out, so I used my Copic grays to color him up and then added Glossy Accents to the eyes.  The roses were also colored with Copics and I added Stickles to them for some shine.

My second card is showcasing the sweet image called "Wryn-Heartfelt Thanks" from Tiddly Inks.  I printed out the extra row of hearts to pop up above the Wryn image because she was super thankful with her hearts.  All were colored with Copics and then I used the sentiment that was also part of the package, Stickles were dabbed around it.

I hope you can jump on over and take a look at what the DT have put together for you and enter into the challenge.  It supports such a wonderful cause, learn more here.  You do not have to send your cards in to enter the challenge but if you have them spilling over we would love to take your extra "kid friendly" cards to give to the children in the hospital and you can learn more about that HERE.  As always if any of you have any questions please ask and I hope you all have a blessed weekend :)

Up and Away

Good morning everyone!  It is that time again, time to Celebrate the Occasion with Challenge #87- Up and Away (In honor of Aviation History Month, include flying craft in project).  For the month of October our wonderful Sponsor is the sweet Bugaboo Digi Stamps, a big thank you to them for that.

For my card I used the adorable "Kidz Girl- Hot Air Balloon" from Bugaboo and colored her up with Copics.  I kept her as the focal point by just adding a cloudy background and then I popped the sentiment up the side with Photoshop.  I added some Stickles to the bows and some Opaque white to her eyes and cheeks.

So hop on over and take a look at the wonderful "Flying Aircraft" the DT has put together for you and I hope to see all of your wonderful creations this week!  As always if you have any questions please ask and I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday :)
