Bunny Love

Good morning everyone!  I am happy to be the Guest Designer for this week at A La Card Monkey for Challenge #102- Sketch + Easter.  I chose to use an image from A Day for Daisies called "Bunny Ears", not necessarily what I see as Easter but it matches the adorable bunny on the sketch.  I colored the image up with Copics and paired it with some pretty papers from Jessica Sprague.com, all links below in the recipe.  I distressed the edges and added some cute little bunny brads that I had in my stash, I apologize for not even know where I got them but I was thrilled to use them.  Hop on over and take a look at what the DT and the wonderful GD have done and join in on the challenge.  Who knows maybe next week you will be there fabulous Guest Designer!!  As always I hope you have a fabulous day :)

Happy Birthday Christy!!

Happy Thursday everyone!  I made this card today for Christy (the owner of Tiddly Inks,) her birthday was yesterday and they are having a big celebration for her.  The Tiddly Inks Challenge #83-Birthday Bash is the start of the fun, they are having trivia questions and beautiful DT work to go along with it.  For this card I combined a couple of Tiddly Ink images called "Briar" and "Cupcakes" which is no longer available.  I colored them with Copics and combined that with so papers from JLeeLoo3 called "E.N.J.O.Y., all links below the recipe.  The layout of the card was taken from the wonderful sketch by Graphicat Sketches and I will also be entering this into their Challenge #4.  I hope you all can hop over and take part in the fun going on and as always I hope you have a wonderful evening.

Wishing you a magical day

I made this card for the Hambo Hoedown Challenge #59- OWH Image + favorite medium.  I missed the timeframe to post my last card so I hopped on over to the Hambo Stamps store and purchased this image called "Fairy Celeste", all links below under recipe.  She is part of a new series of 8 images called "New Hop Art Designs" that were created to benefit Operation Write Home.  All proceeds from the sales of these images will go directly to benefit OWH, so I was happy to purchase her.  For my card I chose to use Copics, I wouldn't say it is my favorite because I do love my Prismacolors but for this I chose Copics.  I wanted to make a woodsy scene so I added the "Fern log" from Make it Crafty and then added some Stickles for some fairy sparkle.  Hambo has a wonderful blog hop going on right now to showcase the different images, I hope you can hop on over and take part in the wonderful cause.  As always I hope you have a wonderful day :)

You are the best!

I had an idea for a card for my long distant bff that even when I wasn't with her she would still know what I thought of her when she needed me.  It is a match style layout that came to my brain where she can tear out a perforated sentiment on the inside.  I have not seen this, that I know of, and created a template that I could use to make this.  What other image could I use except for the perfect image from Tiddly Inks called "Wryn and Emmy-bff", all links below in recipe.  I know my pal would never be caught in a dress (except at my wedding), she is so sweet for doing that, but I figure if we can be standing in front of the Eiffel Tower she can be wearing a dress!  I colored the image with my Copics and added some white gel pen accents.  I combined it with some digital kits from Two Peas in a Bucket and the Hero Arts "friend definition" also found at Two Peas.  With lots of distressing and inking I was finished.  I hope she enjoys it as much as I anticipate she will along with all of you.  I will be entering this into the Tiddly Inks Challenge #81- Best Friends Forever, as her and I always will be!!  As always if you have any questions please ask and I hope you have a fabulous Friday :)
