Fab Friday

Good morning everyone!  It is Fabby Friday at Tiddly Inks and I decided to try something different with the adorable "Thanks Fairy Much" stamp set.

I tried heat embossing the image with my Inkxpressions Black Embossing Powder. I love the effect it gave with those dark black lines but the bad news is that it is NOT good on your Copics.  The black rubs off on your nibs :(.  You can see in areas where the black smeared into the image.  I finished coloring it up with Copics and then watercolored the background for another fun effect.  This was all done on Watercolor paper which blends Copics really well.  For the sentiment I chose to go with the Memento Ink instead of embossing and it came out just as nice and no Copic damage :)  Hop on over and take a look at what the DT has come up with on top of seeing what the New DT has put together for you!  As always if you have any questions please ask and I hope you have a fabulous weekend :)

A Tiddly Anything Goes

Good morning everyone!  It is time for a new challenge at Tiddly Inks, and it is a super easy one… "Anything Goes"!

Today I am bringing you the fun image called "Magda". I colored her up with Copics to match "Merida" from Brave.  I added some sparkle around the little fairy to add some shine.  I then combined this with the beautiful papers from Basic Grey called "What's Up" paper pack 2.  and the embellishments are from "What's up" Embellishment pack.

Hop on over and take a look at the beautiful work from the DT and maybe say a goodbye to the members that are leaving us :(.  They will be tearfully missed but I know not gone!  I cannot wait to see all you fabulous "Anything Goes" Creations!!  As always if you have any questions please ask and I hope you have a wonderful day:)

Anything Goes

It’s time for another fun challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids! This time our challenge is Anything Goes 4 Kids!  We have three very fabulous sponsors for this challenge: Dollar Graphics Depot ($15 gift certificate), Oak Pond Creations (3 digs),  and Fred She Said ($10 gift certificate).

For my first card I used the adorable image from Dollar Graphics Depot called "Let it Rain".  This comes with pre-colored images so all I did was combine the images and then come in with some Copics for additional shading and shadows.

For my second card I used the fun image from Oak Pond Creations called "Trash Cats".  I colored them up with Copics and then added a bright red backdrop to the image.  I then colored a yarn looking frame around the edges and throughout the sentiment to go along with the image.

Hop on over and take a look at what the DT has put together for you!  Can't wait to see what you do and as always if you have any questions please ask.  Have a fabulous weekend :)

A bit of magic

It's throwback thursday time with Tiddly Inks!  Today I am bringing you the the sweet image called "Wizardette".

I decided to make it into a shaker card to go with all the magic bubbles.  I cut out a circle and added some green glitter to match the green in the image.  My kids were coloring on my mat and it bled through on the sides so I decided to draw in two extra bubbles to cover it, lol.  Sometimes you just have to make it work and I didn't want to start all over again ;).  I colored her up with Copics and then added some sparkle around her wand.  The sentiment was added in Photoshop.

Don't forget about our Challenge going on "For the Boys", you still have time to get your creation in.  As always if you have any questions please ask and I hope you all have a wonderful day :)

Let's hear it for the boys

Good morning everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Tiddly Inks- Let's hear it for the boys!

I decided to do a fun french fry box for my son's return to school.  I cut some pieces of paper and crimped them through my crimper and added smarties inside.  I saw the original cute idea for the french fries HERE.  I used the paper for the french fry box from the digital paper pack called "Gothic Girls Paper Set".  I then colored up "My Super Boy" with my Copics and then added a wood star to the side that was also colored with Copics.

Hop on over and take a look at all the other adorable "Boy" creations the DT has put together for you and I can't see what you come up with!  As always if you have any questions please ask and I hope you have a fabulous day :)
