Thank you- CTO #48

Happy Tuesday everyone!!  It's that time again, time to Celebrate the Occasion with Challenge #48- Thank you (Use a punch).  For my card today I actually used my Cricut, amazing isn't it, I still know how to use it!  I wanted to use this adorable little gnome from My Scrap Chick, all links below the recipe.

I cut him out in all white and then colored him up with Copics to match the DP's from KI Memories.  I also used 3 different punches within the card to follow the challenge criteria (the border punch, the sentiment tag and the scalloped circle behind).  I wanted him to be bright and cheery for a big "thank you" to someone.  So hop on over and take a look at what the rest of the wonderful DT has done and don't forget the big blog hop on Saturday, LOTS of candy and fun to be had.  Thanks to all of you who entered last week, they were all so amazing and I hope to see more of you this week!  As always if you have any questions please ask and I hope you have a wonderful day :)

I made this card for the Hambo Hoedown Challenge #50- CASE-ing.  This is a progressive challenge, if you join in this week you will receive a FREE image the following week to work with.  So onto the challenge, CASE-ing, you need to go to the Hambo gallery and pick a card to CASE (Copy and share everything) along with the "Caped Chick" image or any Hambo image, all links under recipe.  I chose a card by Isabelle Mung and kept mine with a white background, super simple and so fun.

                         CASE-ed card:

So hop on over and see what everyone else has done with there "Caped Chick" and join in on the challenge! I hope you all have a fabulous Monday :)

Fairy Swing

It is time for another sketch challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday- #138, there sponsor this week is A Day for Daisies.  I used an image from the September club called "Fairy Swing", I tried to make the branches come off the page to bring more life to it.  I colored her with Copic Markers and added Stickles to her because all fairies need glitter right!  The softness of the image went so well with the Echo Parks "Orchard Lane" papers with some added Pearl Accents, all links below in the recipe.  I am also entering this into the A Day for Daisies challenge- All that glitters.  So hop on over and join in the challenges, the DT have some wonderful inspiration for you to look at.  If you have any questions please ask and I hope you have a wonderful day :)

You may recognize this layout and that is because I am doing my second card for Sweet Sketch Wednesday- #137.  There sponsor for this week is Digi Stamp Boutique, so I wanted to do another one using there image.  The image is called "Fairy Lizzie", I believe she has been discontinued, isn't she the sweetest!  I colored her up with Copics and used some fun papers from Shabby Princess, all links below in the recipe.  If you hurry you can still get in on this challenge but if not you can catch the new one on Wednesday.  Also, CTO has a new challenge as of today- Masculine card.  So just do the OPPOSITE of mine and enter it in over there!  I hope you all have a wonderful day :)

SAS 4 Kids- Challenge #25

Happy Saturday everyone, it is time for a new challenge at SAS 4 Kids.  This is challenge #25-Anything Goes for Kids and we have some fabulous Sponsors.  The prizes for this challenge are Hambo Stamps ($15 Gift Certificate), Di's Digi Downloads ($10 Gift Certificate) and EEM Photos to Digis (3 photos), so a huge thank you to all of them for the wonderful images and sponsorship.

First up is this adorable card using a couple of different Hambo images.  They have a wonderful progressive challenge and this week's image is the sweet "Bailey".  Every week that you enter a card they will send you a free image for the next week to work with.  They also did a wonderful post this week to support the SAS 4 Kids cause, so a big shout out to them for the wonderful support!!  I will be entering this card into there Hambo Hoedown challenge #49- Kid's Cards.  I used one of there images called "doghouse blues" and put "Bailey" in front, then colored them with Copics, all links below under recipe.  Hop on over and take a look at what the DT has done and join in on the fun challenge.

Second card is using "Fish Ahoy" from Di's Digi Downloads. I again used Copics to color up the whole scene and added some fun papers from KI Memories, don't they have some adorable images.

Lastly, but certainly not least is this sweet one using an image converted by EEM Photos to Digis.  Okay I am biased because it is my photo but come on, that could melt anyone's heart.  I used the sentiment from Tiddly Inks and some pretty papers from Shabby Princess.  I left it B&W, I just thought it brought it out that much more.

So if you have made it this far, I love you ;)  That is it for the wonderfully sponsored cards and I so hope you can hop on over to the SAS 4 Kids challenge and take part.  It is for such a good cause and you do not have to send your card in to enter, even though we would totally love if you did.  If you have any questions please ask and I hope you have a fabulous rest of your weekend :)
