Star Struck

It is time to Celebrate the Occasion with challenge #72- Star Struck (must use 3 stars).   July's prize is a $15 dollar gift card to JoAnne's or Michaels.  Onto my card, I wanted to do a male card and so I used a fun image from Some Odd Girl called "Rockin' Kody" and colored him up with my Copics.  I combined it with some digital papers from Pink Paislee and added the sentiment through Photoshop.  I then distressed the stars with some Mustard Seed distress ink and layered them with some pop dots.  So get on over and see what the wonderful DT has put together for you and I cannot wait to see all of your fabulous creations!!  As always if you have any questions please ask and have a super Tuesday :)

Animal Cards

Good morning everyone!!   It is time for a new challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids- Animal Cards for kids.  We have some wonderful sponsor's with some terrific images, Delicious Doodles (4 digi's of winners choice) and Stampin Dragon Designs (4 digi's of winners choice).  A big thank you to them for letting us showcase some of there images.

My first card is using the image from Delicious Doodles called "Willie the Westie".  I colored him up with Copics and paired it with some digital papers from Echo Park and Mygraphico, all links below recipe.  I added the sentiment with Photoshop.

My second card is using an image from Stampin Dragon Designs called "Mooving Along".  I kept it neutral by pairing it with some digital papers from La Pomme Designs.  I colored him up with some Copic markers and added glossy accents for shine.  This sentiment was also added with Photoshop.

So hop on over and take a look at what the Design Team has put together and join in on the fun.  This is a two week challenge so you have plenty of time.  Of course if you have a bunch of cards laying around that you would love to donate and are kid friendly then SAS 4 Kids would love to have them, click HERE for more information.

H B 2 U

Good evening everyone!!  I made a card this weekend for the Tiddly Inks Challenge #90- Red, White and Blue.  I went back into my Tiddly images and chose from this fun set called "Chemical Love".  I used the boy image along with the background paper, I also sized the other page down and then cut out the star splash for the sentiment.  I combined all this with some matching papers from Cosmo Cricket called "Lil' Man" and used the fun drippy goo punch from Martha Stewart, all links below recipe.  I colored him up with my Copics and added some glossy accents to his glasses and the vial.  I thought it would make a fun birthday card, speaking of birthday have all of you headed over and seen the new DT for CTO?  They have come up with some wonderful birthday inspiration for you to look at for the "Happy Birthday" challenge!  Both are having some fabulous fun and you still have a little bit of time to get them in if you hurry.  As always if you have any questions please ask and I hope you have a great evening :)
