Memorial Day Challenge

Are you ready for another challenge at Celebrate the Occasion?  We are onto challenge #113- Memorial Day.

For my card I kept it simple to showcase the red, white and blue.  I wanted that to really stand out along with the simple Thank you that I produced in Photoshop.  The design elements are from the Echo Park "4th of July" mini kit and then I added some small touches of Stickles onto the fireworks to brighten them up.

This challenge is just in time to get those Memorial Day cards done to say Thank you to those heroic men and women.  I hope to see all of your fabulous creations this week!!  As always if you have any questions please ask and I hope you have a wonderful day today :)

#109- CAS

Good morning to you all, I hope you are coffee'd up and ready to go!!  We are onto a new challenge over at Celebrate the Occasion, #109- CAS.  We had some adorable "tea time" creations and a big thank you to those that entered.

For my card today I used an oh so sweet image from Tiddly Inks called "Melissa Birthday Bear" and colored her up with my Copics, of course.  I cut around the top of her and left the strip to stand out on its own.  The sentiment is also a Tiddly Ink that I got a long time ago, sorry.  I combined both with some DP from Pink Paislee called "Shabby Sugarland" and cut them into flag shapes,  all links below recipe.

Hop on over and take a look at what the DT have put together for you.  Get those creative juices flowing and jump on in with us.  As always if you have any questions please ask and I hope you have a wonderful day today :)

CTO Sketch Challenge

Good morning bloggers!! It is time to Celebrate the Occasion with Challenge # 105- Sketch Challenge.  Bugaboo Digital Stamps is the sponsor for this month so I used another one of their adorable images.

For my card I chose to use the image "Sun bonnet- Fish 1".  I colored him up with Copics and then combined it with some wonderful papers and elements from Cosmo Cricket called "Lil' Man" which I think unfortunately is retired.  I added a sentiment up to from Desert Diva and wrapped the twine around to go under the "Lil' Man" elements, all links below recipe.

Hop on over and see what the other DT have put together for you using the wonderful sketch and I can't wait to see what you come up with!!  As always if you have any questions please ask and I hope you have a wonderful day today :)

Wishing you a colorful day

Good morning everyone!!  It is time to Celebrate the Occasion again with Challenge # 104- Happy Easter.  We had so many wonderful "Spring cards this last time, thank you all for entering your creations.  This month's sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps with a prize of 7 images of the winner's choice.

For my card I chose to use the image from Bugaboo called "WOE Easter Wagon".  I colored it up with Copics and then added some Glossy Accents on the eyes and wheels and then Stickles on some of the eggs.  I combined it with some papers from Pink Paislee called "Shabby Sugarland" and popped up the heart embellishment from the "Shabby Sugarland" elements.

So now it is your turn to hop on over and get your "Happy Easter" Creations in and take a look at some of the beautiful DT inspiration.  As always if you have any questions please ask and I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday :)
