I'm a little Monster and a GIVEAWAY

Happy Monday everyone and Happy Halloween to you if you celebrate it. I do not but it is so cute to see all the kiddo's dressed so adorably like this little card. I used a Recollections cling stamp set for the images and sentiment, stamped them on a separate piece of paper and glued them down on my distressed background. I colored them with my Prismacolors and added some liquid pearls and glossy accents for some highlighted touches. Since I don't really celebrate Halloween I thought I would celebrate you followers today with a fun little giveaway just to say how much I so appreciate YOU!! Just leave your link below, you can comment if you are a follower or not but please remember only a follower will receive the giveaway. Thank you for understanding, I will announce the winner on Monday, November 7th. If you have any questions please ask and I hope you have a fabulous day :)

Live the life.....

I made this card for "My Creative Time's" First Design Team Call. This is a 3 layer card with acetate on the front. I made the background sky and ground with ColorBox chalk ink and colored the "A Day for Daisies" image with my Prismacolors. All the wonderful sentiments are from "My Creative Time", I used 2 different stamp sets, links below. If you haven't bought any of her stamps, I highly recommend it. They are AWEsome quality and it is absolutely the best customer service I have ever dealt with, you won't regret it. You still have time to get your creations in for the DT call, so hurry over and join in on the fun. As always if you have ANY questions, big or small, feel free to ask and I hope you have a fabulous Friday. Off to the pumpkin patch with the kiddos :)

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Hello everyone, sorry for the delay in posts, I have unfortunately been under the weather!! Back on track though and I wanted to do this post for "National Breast Cancer Awareness Month". Celebrate the Occasion has the new challenge up with DT #1 and they are all going pink for the cause, so hop on over and take a look at there wonderful creations. This cutie of a box was a FREEBIE, yes free, can you believe it, at mygraphico.com. I have posted the link for you below, it was so easy to put together and the colors came out beautifully. The top just slips off, I added two holes on top to put the ribbon through and then filled it with some yummy pink M&M's. So I hope you can join in on the challenge with CTO, you could win a $25 gift certificate to Papertrey Ink! If you have any questions please let me know and I hope you have a beautiful day :)

I've been published!!!

I am super excited to share with everyone that I have been published in the Cricut Cards magazine, 3 times. I have had 3 blank spots with no cards and that is because they had to be removed for a short time until the magazine came out.

Cricut Cards Idea Book

Most of you will recognize them because they were posted at one time but it is pretty surreal to open up a magazine and see your name and your creations in there. They even did a tutorial for one of them. I just had to share because I was really flabbergasted!! Hope you all have a wonderful day :)

It's time to Celebrate- CTO #26

It is time to Celebrate the Occasion again with Challenge #26-Birthday, Easel card. I chose to use this cute image from A Day for Daisies called "Strawberry Cake Birthday Fairy". My papers are from DCWV and My Grafico digital papers, I colored the image to blend in with these and ran with the cherry theme on the cake. I distressed the edges with some Tim Holtz Distress Ink and added the cute bow. I am also entering this into A Day for Daisies Challenge #24- Feeling (and Folding) Fancy. I hope you can join in on this week's fun challenges and take a peek at what the wonderful DT created, they always do an AWEsome job! Have a wonderful Tuesday and I will chat with you soon :)

Tiny Tiddly Ones- Tiddly Ink GD post

It is time for another challenge at Tiddly Inks, Challenge #62- Inch My Way Along. This is my last guest designer post and it has been such a pleasure being a part of the Tiddly Inkers!! What a fun challenge to end with, tiny tiddly ones are mini cards for the wee little one's in your life. I chose to do a pack of 2x2 inspirational mini's, 4 of each card, along with a gift box to carry them in and they fit so perfectly. I used 4 beautiful fairy images from Tiddly Inks, on the box I used "Party Time Pixies" and for the cards I used "Lilli Claire-Make a Wish" for the pink one, "Sugar Plum Fairy" is the purple one and last but not least the blue is "Fairy Fae Catches a Star". I made the cute flower box with the Cricut cartridge "Tags, Bags, Boxes and More" and added Liquid Pearls around the window for some sparkle. So hop over and check out what the SUPER talented Design Team has created, they always amaze me, and see what kind of mini's you can come up with!! I hope you all have a wonderful night or day :)

Reach high

I made this card for my daughter with the removal bookmark and I am entering it into the Tiddly Inks Challenge # 59- Tag or Ticket Me. I used the Tiddly Inks "Poppy" along with the "Poppy Accents" frame and flowers. I just love the image with the quote that says "Reach high, for stars lie hidden in your soul. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal" Pamela Vaull Starr. I hope every time she looks at it she can smile and remember "all things are possible". I hope you all have a very wonderful day :)

Steampunk 2 B & W

I decided to make another card for Tiddly Inks Steampunk Showoff Challenge, but this time in black and white. Boy was this a toughy for me, I think my brain was making it harder than it needed to be ;) Practice, practice though and it shall get easier!! I used a couple of different images from the Tiddly Inks shop, the first is Miss "Tanker Fairy Sits" and I also used a few images from the "Steampunk papers-extra goodies", which is the frame, the side embellishment and the strip of paper. The "Fern log" came from Make it Crafty. To get all the black and white shades I used a bunch of greys, black and my white with touches of a white gel pen here and there and layered the colors the same way I would if it were in color, just had to view in B & W. As I said I need a lot of practice in this area but it was fun to stretch my mind. If anyone has any questions please let me know and I hope you are having a wonderful Friday :)
